01 · THE BRAND
ASTONISHING
HOODIES.
ASTRO mainly creates premium oversized hoodies and jackets with satin- or silk-lined hoods and sleeves. Each piece is designed for comfort, style and softness, inside and out.
The first ASTRO designs were conceived to help soothe sensory sensitivity and provide a reassuring feeling through their weight, enveloping cut and smooth linings.
02 · THE FOUNDER
FROM HAND
TO BRAND.
Fascinated by fashion, materials, colours and shapes from a young age, Lubna began altering her own hoodies in search of comfort and reassurance. She lined the sleeves and hoods with coloured satin, making each garment warmer, softer and as carefully finished inside as outside.
She presented her first drops and pre-orders on Instagram and TikTok in 2017. In 2020, with guidance from designer Anastasia Lafey, Lubna refined her sewing craft, registered the ASTRO brand and launched the website.
By 2023, she had assembled more than one thousand custom hoodies by hand while also managing the website, social media, shipping, customer service and photography.

03 · THE PRODUCT
THE WEIGHT.
THE MATERIAL.
ASTRO pieces weigh around 1 kg on average. Hoodies weigh between 800 and 900 grams, while jackets weigh between 1 and 1.3 kg. This weight gives an enveloping, reassuring feel, while the satin or silk lining reduces friction against hair and skin.
Special attention is paid to fabric, drape and finishing. The raised ASTRO logo matches the lining colour, the drawcords are interchangeable and a threading needle is included.

MAKE BETTER.
ASTRO produces limited runs of 50 to 100 pieces. Styles may sell out, but there is no overproduction. This scale allows the brand to follow demand while maintaining its quality standards.
