WHAT ARE OUR COCOONS MADE OF?
EXCEPTIONAL BRUSHED FLEECE
The outer fabric of our satin- or silk-lined hoodies and jackets is thick brushed fleece made from 50% polyester and 50% cotton, excluding the lining. Cotton provides natural softness, while polyester supports strength and shape.
SOFT ON THE INSIDE
Brushed fibres create a soft, fleecy and gently cushioned surface. Depending on the style, the hood, sleeves or body are lined with satin or silk.
MADE TO LAST
The density of the knit and the quality of the finishing help preserve the garment’s structure, softness and appearance over time.
AN ENVELOPING WEIGHT
Our hoodies generally weigh between 800 and 900 g, while our jackets weigh between 1 and 1.3 kg. This comes from the dense fleece, the cut and the lining. The enveloping, reassuring feel may support sensory calm and help some people with sensory sensitivities feel more grounded. Experiences vary, and the garment is not a medical device.
HOODIE OR JACKET
A hoodie pulls on over the head and generally weighs between 800 and 900 g. A jacket opens with a zip and generally weighs between 1 and 1.3 kg.
SATIN OR SILK
Our satin linings are made from 100% polyester: soft, vegan and durable. Our natural silk linings are made from 100% silk. Silk is hypoallergenic and helps preserve moisture in the hair and skin.
HOOD · SLEEVES · BODY
Depending on the style, the lining covers the hood only, the hood and sleeves, or the entire garment.
FIVE WAYS TO WEAR THE COCOON
FINISHING
Three-dimensional embroidered ASTRO logo, matched to the colour of the inner lining. Jackets come with two drawcords: one classic drawcord and one satin drawcord. Hoodies come with one classic drawcord.

CARE
Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle. Do not tumble dry. Iron at a low temperature while protecting the satin or silk. Embroidered satins are especially beautiful, but also more delicate, so handle them with care.
